Credentials count when it comes to the professionals you trust with your financial affairs. Our staff offers a combined total of more than 50 years of experience in all phases of accounting, tax planning and preparation. Our backgrounds include corporate accounting and consulting in addition to our work with small to mid-sized businesses, families and individuals.

Peer Review

Our firm regularly participates in the mandated American Institute of CPAs "Peer Review" process, whereby periodic reviews confirm that CPA firms are adhering to the required standards of the accounting profession.

In our firm's most recent peer review in January 2008 we received an "unqualified opinion", the highest level indicating all professional requirements are being met. Continuing professional education courses, required of all professional staff members on an annual basis, insure that they are up to date with current information, including the most recent changes in accounting and tax laws and statutes.

Eugene C. Luccarelli, CPA

Mr. Luccarelli is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey and the owner/founder of the firm.

In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA,Gene earned Academic All American honors as a member of the Bison's varsity football team and still holds school records for interceptions in one season and for a career.

Gene also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in business management and finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ, and a Master's of Science degree in taxation from FDU.

Before starting the firm, Gene held controller and internal audit manager positions and has a vast range of experience in dealing with both corporate and personal tax issues. He is particularly noted for his consulting work on behalf of businesses contracting with federal and state governmental agencies.

Richard J. Luccarelli

We treat all of our clients and staff members like family – including Gene's brother Richard.
Richard graduated from Central College, Pella, IA with a degree in business administration and has done graduate work in the accounting field as well. He has been affiliated with Gene for many years, and has worked in public accounting for more than 20 years. Richard often handles special assignments on an independent basis for our firm and a select group of CPAs.

Lauren Aljian, CPA

Lauren has been affiliated with our firm for the past 5 years and brings a broad-based background in accounting. She has held positions ranging from senior auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick to internal auditor for Cap Cities/ABC, Inc., in addition to working as a controller for manufacturing, finance and not-for-profit organizations. Most recently, Lauren served as a chief administrative officer/controller in the healthcare industry for the past 12 years.

A graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ with a BS degree in accounting and Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ with a MA-Teaching, Business Education, Lauren is a licensed CPA in the State of NJ and is a member of the AICPA and NJ Society of CPAs.
